Babel is a typeface designed to highlight three different languages written with the same alphabet: French, German and Dutch. Custom ligatures are drawn to highlight five of the most common letter pairs in each language. As a result, the texture of the text is disrupted in three different ways in accordance with the language.
Babel can be used in a trilingual project to graphically mark the difference between languages. Each language has its own peculiarities, and the Babel font highlights them.
