Typographic manifesto

Letterpress printing
2019

This composition honors First thing First (first the essential), a graphic design manifesto from 2000. This text deals with the overabundance of advertisement in graphic design, which saturates us with superfluous messages, and the desire to get away from it. I feel concern by this issues still relevant today.

The project opposes this visual "saturation" of advertisement and the will of graphic designers to emancipate themselves from it. One sentence stands out by its discretion and its humanism. Thus, it manifests a more humble position than the lure of gain: values.
