Rehabilitation of a font used by Robert Estienne in 1541 in the book De Latinæ linguæ elegantia written by Lorenzo Valla in 1444. This book and the font I'm interested in have been the subject of a study file before the rehabilitation work.
The second part of the projet was to design, in collaboration with Baptiste Delage, a Roman/Italic typographic couple, both rehabilitated from the same historical period. I worked on the Roman style. The typeface is named Stephanie in reference to the name sometimes used by Robert Estienne as a printer, Robertus Stephanus.
